HisSong, one of Southern Gospel’s favorite trios, recently scored their first Top 20 hit on the Singing News Magazine’s Top 80 chart – the Southern Gospel industry’s most recognized radio airplay chart.
The song, “The Grave Can’t Hold Me”, recently peaked at #13 on the January 2008 issue of the Singing News Magazine Top 80 chart. The song is at #16 for the February issue of the same chart.

“The Grave Can’t Hold Me” was written by Ola Graves and was the debut single from the trio’s Vine Records debut On My Way Up. The song was also a Top 10 hit on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart, PowerSource Magazine Southern Gospel Top 100, and PowerSource Magazine Bluegrass Top 15, as well as a Top 20 hit on the SGUSA Countdown. The song is currently at #29 on the Gospel Music News Top 100.
The group’s latest single, “I Still Have It All”, was released to radio last month and has already found a home on many of the industry’s top radio stations. The song recently broke the Top 20 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart.
On My Way Up released last November. The album features new songs written by industry leading songwriters such as Walt Mills, Wayne Haun, Joel Lindsey, Marty Funderburk, Tony Wood, Caleb Collins, and many more. The album was produced by Wayne Haun for Haun & Ward Entertainment.
