JANET, SHERI AND CHARLOTTE TO RELEASE SINGLE

May 2, 2008 (Nashville, TN)- Vine recording artist Janet Paschal has joined long time friends Sheri Easter and Charlotte Ritchie to release “I See A Crimson Stream” to Southern Gospel and Bluegrass radio. This will be the third single from the DOVE nominated recording, “Sounds Like Sunday.” While Easter and Ritchie are not featured on the original release, Vine Records and Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing, Inc. will have the single available for digital download on iTunes and other popular websites. “I started singing this song on the Gaither tour this year. One night Bill asked Sheri and Charlotte to sing with me. We were taken aback by the response. We’ve been singing it ever since,” states Paschal. “We’ve been getting so many requests for this song since Janet has started singing this on tour. It only seemed fitting that we go back in the studio and re-record. We’d never really considered this song as a single, but after hearing the blend of these three, we all agreed that it had to be edited for radio. The end result is breathtaking, and the fans are loving it,” states Kevin Ward of Vine Records. Produced by Wayne Haun, “I See A Crimson Stream” is a traditional 19th century hymn arranged in a Celtic and Appalachian style. It will be shipped to radio May 2008, and will be promoted by Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing, Inc.

VINE RECORDS SIGNS LIVING WATERS TRIO

Vine Records announced today the signing of the Living Waters Trio to their roster. This east Tennessee trio is known for their tight harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. Their recent chart success captured the attention of Vine executives. “I’d heard their singles on the radio for the past year and wondered who this amazing group was. At the 2007 NQC, my friend, Judy Nelon insisted I hear them. As soon as I heard the intro, I knew the song. I was glad to put faces and a name to the singles, and even happier to offer them a contract,” states Wayne Haun of Vine.

Their premier release, “Home For Now” offers a mix of Southern and Bluegrass Gospel. Their first single, “Good Side Of Goodbye” has been shipped to radio and is already receiving rave reviews. Produced by industry favorite Terry Thompson, “Home For Now” will release this June and will be distributed by Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing.

NAOMI AND THE SEGOS ARE IN THE STUDIO

March 12, 2008 (Nashville, TN)- Vine recording artist Naomi and the Segos are preparing for their anticipated release, Happy Ending. Produced by Wayne Haun and Kevin Ward, this will be the farewell recording for this legendary group.

"We've never had so many songs brought to us for consideration. I think this goes to show that Naomi has a great respect from the songwriters in our industry," states Kasey Kemp, lead singer for the group. Happy Ending will feature mostly new songs with a few classics snuggled in between. The Colbert & Joyce Croft hit, I Can't Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand) will be included in the line-up. " I've always loved this song. I'd always thought it a man's song, but Colbert and Joyce re-arranged a few words just for me. I'm so glad they did. This one has become one of my favorites on the recording," states Naomi Sego Reeder.

The first single, 991/2, written by co-producer Wayne Haun, will be shipped to radio in April. Happy Ending will be released June 2008, and will be distributed by Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing, Inc.

THE NELONS TO APPEAR ON TBN

Friday’s show will be hosted by Jason Crabb and will feature several artists including Ivan Parker, The Freemans and 2008 DOVE nominee for New Artist of the Year, Austin’s Bridge. Vine Records Receives 9 DOVE Nominations

At a press conference held yesterday, the Gospel Music Association announced the nominees for the 39th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Vine Records walked away with an impressive 9 nominations in the following categories: Janet Paschal “Sounds Like Sunday” for Southern Gospel Album, Lillie Knauls “Past And Present” for Traditional Gospel Album and “Oh Happy Day” (with the Talley Trio) for Traditional Gospel Recorded Song, Calvin Hunt “Bridges” for Contemporary Gospel Recording and “Come On” for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song, The Lewis Family “The Key To Heaven” for Bluegrass Recorded Song, and Little Roy Lewis, Earl Scruggs and Lizzy Long (Lewis, Scruggs and Long) garnered three nominations with “Lifetimes” for Bluegrass Album, “I Will Find You Again” for Bluegrass Recorded Song and “James White” for Country Recorded Song. “Speechless is the only word I can think of right now to describe how we feel. Vine is a small independent label. This just goes to show the respect our artists have in the industry.
